1. Data Protection

We comply with the principles of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) when dealing with all data received from clients, and business partners.

2. Our Services

We only hold the data necessary to offer the coaching services provided by this business and our E-bulletin service. We do not ask for or use more data than necessary to provide you with a proper service. This means we only process and hold data related to coaching and mentoring, supervision and leadership development purposes and free E-newsletter subscriptions and subsequent support related to those purchases/subscriptions, in accordance with Article 6(1)(b) of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Any processing of your data is only done to provide or perform the services or products you have signed up for. We use information held about you in the following ways:

to carry out our obligations arising from any contracts entered into between you and us and to provide you with the information, products and services that you request from us;

to provide you with information about the services we offer that are similar to those that you have already purchased or enquired about;

to provide you, with information about goods or services we feel may interest you. If you are an existing customer, we will only contact you by electronic means with information about goods and services similar to those which were the subject of a previous sale or negotiations of a sale to you.

to notify you about changes to our service;

to ensure that content from our Site is presented in the most effective manner for you and for your computer.

Information we collect about you. We will use this information:

to administer our Site and for internal operations, including troubleshooting, data analysis, testing, research, statistical and survey purposes;

to improve our Site to ensure that content is presented in the most effective manner for you and for your computer;

to allow you to participate in interactive features of our service when you choose to do so;

as part of our efforts to keep our Site safe and secure;

to measure or understand the effectiveness of advertising we serve to you and others, and to deliver relevant advertising to you;

to make suggestions and recommendations to you and other users of our Site about goods or services that may interest you or them.

3. Required Period

We only hold personal data for as long as necessary. Once data is no longer needed we delete it. Our insurers need me to hold client information for a minimum period of 6 years. Destroyed records and information will be shredded. 

4. Payment Processing Data 

We use third-party payment providers (BACS) to handle coaching provision payment processing data securely. In accordance with Article 6(1)(b) of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) any other data is only used to process your purchase securely. In accordance with Article 6(1)(c) of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), we need to retain data related to all purchases to fulfil our existing legal obligations.

5. Backup & Data Storage

For administrative reasons, customer data and email subscription data may be passed stored securely with third party service providers located outside the EEA (European Economic Area). This is done to back up and preserve your data where it is needed to carry on offering a service to you.

6. Subscriber Requests

As a Daemon Career Coach subscriber, or, as a client of this business, you can at any time (and free of charge) request details of the data we hold relating to you. Email subscribers can also request any such data is amended or deleted. Please note that if you request deletion of your data, this may compromise my ability to offer further support relating to your previous subscription or coaching engagement.

7. Monthly E-Bulletins

We send out monthly e-bulletins around the first day of each month. All E-bulletins sent out by us contain clear information on how to unsubscribe.

8. Our Promise

We never sell rent or exchange our mailing lists.

9. Data Sharing

We do not share commercial or technical data with anyone.

10. Spam

In accordance with the Privacy and Electronic Communications (EC Directive) Regulations 2003, we never send bulk unsolicited emails, (popularly known as Spam) to email addresses.

11. Email/E-Bulletin Content

All emails/E-bulletins sent by us will be clearly marked as originating from us. All such emails will also include clear instructions on how to unsubscribe from our E-bulletin service and any future emails. Such instructions will either include a link to a page to unsubscribe or a valid email address to which you should reply, with “unsubscribe” as the email subject heading.

Changes to our privacy policy 

Any changes we may make to our privacy policy in the future will be posted on this page and, where appropriate, notified to you by e-mail. Please check back frequently to see any updates or changes to our privacy policy.
