Being of Service

I’ve been pondering the benefits of truly being ‘of service’.
I am not a coach and clinical supervisor for the money. I have chosen these two roles because I have a passion for helping people close the gap between the beliefs they hold about what they are allowed to do, and the brilliance they are actually capable of when they create the right circumstances and belief set about themselves.
I have worked to empower and enable others to challenge their limiting beliefs about themselves and their worlds, in a variety of roles, for over twenty years.
And do you know why I do this, what motivates me to remain true to my driver of bring of service? It’s because other patient, curious, faithful and brilliant individuals did this for me.
When I wobbled and lost faith in myself, when it seemed my world was stuck or indeed disintegrating entirely, when I did not believe that I could ‘do it’, generous, warm-hearted, wise individuals held the faith for me.
I am still surrounded by people who hold the faith for me when I am unable to. I still have people full of wisdom who cheer me on from the sidelines. I am eternally grateful for their big heartedness. I know just what a huge difference these people have made to my world.
What better way to repay that debt than to pass it on?
