More than one way to skin a cat?
As my 4 year old and I proved when, having got a bus into the centre of town, I discovered I had no cash, no debit card and absolutely no idea what the PIN numbers were to the other bits of plastic in my wallet. We did have a VERY long walk home, however we did get home, with lots if adventures, and that was what mattered….
Conversely I am noticing over & over that whatever career path(s) people take, they often end up just where they need to be, however disparate they’re choices appear to have been across the years.
Someone who has worked in areas as diverse as decorating and personal development, with the smallest nudge, can see that they are ripe for setting up a business as a career coach. Yes this was me, who had until a decade ago no idea where my niche might lie.
It takes a combination of things to enable the indentification process to take place. Firstly you must really, really listening to yourself when you make you next career choice; Then a bit of work with the fears that inevitably arise when contemplating committing to your passion; Then finally the harnessing of all the skills, traits and life experiences that are unique to you, in order to make it happen your way! It is never too late to choose…..
