To Give & to Receive
The title might sound ‘sacred’ but for the purposes of this blog the sibject matter lies much more in the realms of the profane.
When we give, be it gifts on a birthday, or time to a colleague or assistance to a stranger, we generally receive in return.
That grin of gratitude, or the sigh of relief or the moment shared in a busy day all have as much worth as any physical present.
The giving and the receiving, the exchange and the belonging. All have an importance in our sense of ourselves and our esteem.
