Career Coaching Online: Who knew five years ago that career coaching online would feel no different from being in the same room?
Before covid there were always a few outliers with whom I worked digitally — Now, it is the rare client who ends up in my pair of beautiful coaching chairs.

What still baffles me sometimes is that the strength of connection I have with another human being over zoom is just as strong as it ever felt in the room. The Connection we have. The Work we do. The Progress we make. The Common Understanding we gain is exactly the same. It’s all as Strong as it ever was.
In fact, perhaps because there are no distractions from the connection between us through he screen, perhaps it feels even stronger.
There is nothing else for that 90 minutes. Me, the coachee, the work that needs doing.
That’s it and so the focus is immense and the progress is intense.
I’m going to be radical now and suggest that even beyond this, the reason we can work so well in this way is because we are soul connected.

Wherever these humans are in the world, whatever sector they work in, and whatever differences they bring, what we have in common is a soul connection – a desire for purpose-led work that brings good things to the business world. Work around connection and collaboration, around generosity and championing one another. Work around playing to our strengths and celebrating the diversity others bring.
