Admiration

 
Isn’t it nice to feel secure enough to tell another human you admire them?
I have been taking my own advice and learning to recognise that the brilliances I see in others may just be an echo of some of my own skills……
Having benefited from some excellent coaching myself at the close of last year, I risked approaching my coach in a new way, as a fellow practitioner. 
I challenged all those old thoughts of ‘her being better than me’ and ‘what if I get rejected?’ And I emailed her and told her I admired the work she does and flagged up the possibility of future collaboration.
And what a response I got! A whole hearted, arms wide open, “Yes”! And how marvellous is that! 
No, I have no idea where this will do, and nor do I need to. What it has already done is remind me that great people see in me what I cannot see on the dark days. Open ourselves up to to that and who knows where things can go.
Keep stretching.. Keep asking…. Keep creating!
