Is Your Work Challenging, Rewarding & Hugly Enjoyable?

It is The Third session that is ALWAYS the tipping point In a 6 session stint of a coaching process. When I begin working with a new client, one of my first questions of myself is ‘when will be begin to see the rewards?’ The answer is always ‘in or after session 3’.

It Doesn’t matter what career quandary, what industry sector, or what level of seniority, the reintegration of a professional identity and thus the real progress happens as a result of session three. 
This means that sessions 4, 5 and 6 are all spent building on some really firm foundations. This is because the first three sessions are hard graft for both the coach and the coachee. The really exploring and the really understanding and the really challenging happens at the beginning. This is where trust is tested and indeed built. 
That a client would return and pay their hard earned money to me to work so very hard, without yet seeing tangible results, is about a huge level of trust in themselves and in me and in a process that has not yet proven itself.
But it does. This is hugely rewarding work because Its paybacks are so high. It’s ROI is phenomenal, tangible, measurable. It is also hugely enjoyable….
