Career Coaching: 30-year-old Men – There’s something different happening. Far more Younger men are coming to coaching. In the past decade, it’s been the women who showed up here aged 35 saying ‘I don’t know what I do want to do but it sure ain’t this!” The men didn’t show up until a decade later, at best.
Following this last tricky 18 months. It’s men, aged 30 or even younger who are bringing the big questions. They bring high EQ, and also high wariness … still carrying the belief that they ‘should’ navigate this career landscape alone … yet, as with most humans, unable to find the answers on their own.
It’s SO good to have people who are energetic and young, questioning the status quo, earlier in their careers. This way we have a good chance of designing the career landscapes better. And, It Is Time. We have to work differently, We have to gain a better work/life balance. We have to work more kindly, both to ourselves and our planet. Together we AND design it better.
