- It’s the integrated life experiences.
- It’s the ability to meet each client in exactly the way that they need to be met, in each moment.
- It’s the ability to walk alongside each client in a way that leads them out of their personal doldrums.
- It’s the right balance between encouragement and challenge.
- It’s the uncompromising belief that each of you has totally got this, even when it goes dark.
- It’s the person who has navigated this territory before you.

Career Coaching: How do I Know You Are Qualified?
There are lovely creatures who show up here saying “I want to be a life coach.” And my first question is the inevitable:

“And, what life have your lived?”

And, mostly the answer is “not enough yet” — Not yet enough bruises and recoveries to be truly compassionate to those they wish to guide.
And, Each client brings me exactly what I need … Any coach who tells you they are the completed article is closed to learning and thus, is closed to responding to your needs.

How do you know I’m qualified to coach you? You’ll have to come and meet me and see how it feels.
