Career Coaching: Slow the Fxxk Down!!!! Last year in Crete myself, my beloved, and the boy, I got a boat across the island of Gavdos. We got a VERY fast boat across a VERY bumpy bit of the Agean sea to Gavdos.
I had driven the trip. I wanted to do something exciting! And, I absolutely adored sitting right at the back of the boat, in full sunshine. Crete diminishing in the distance as we sped our way in the direction of North Africa. I was absolutely in my element. Unfortunately, the males in my family were not — The boy was sick in his sun hat, solidly for the whole hour. My husband was distinctly grey-green too. Did I feel guilty? Yes!

Did I still enjoy the journey – hell yeah! It was delightful!

One of the phrases that came from that day were the words ‘Slow The Fxxk Down!!!!’ All my husband wanted was for the journey to be slower and thus less like the trampoline, which I was truly enjoying.

!!!! You CAN ask for it to slow the Fxxk down! Whether you believe in the god with a grey beard in the sky or not, The universe WILL hear your petition.

Life has been truly bonkers for the last two years. Even I am petitioning for things to integrate around me a little…….. even I’m a bit green around the gills. We might not be able to get off the boat. We can however request that the captain takes the journey a little more gently — Honestly, try asking. You might just receive….
