“A Career Coach” — That’s what I called myself over a decade ago
I didn’t choose to become a career coach AND I didn’t even know there was such a thing in 2010. Nevertheless, that’s what I swiftly became
Why?
Because “Career Coaching” was what my clients needed. — It was my client base that defined my niche.

They too could turn their hand to just about anything. They too couldn’t work out what was getting in the way of their professional progress. They too, having tried a multitude of things were left wondering exactly what their thing was . . .

HOWEVER when your alternative is to keep pinging between experiences and NEVER quite finding your thing
I had had the experience of a variety of ‘authority figures’ (teachers/parents/ bosses) saying these devastating words to me:
“But you could do anything”
As much as it was meant as a compliment these words left me entirely baffled as to what That Thing might be.
I CAN do anything- but what exactly IS that thing???

And so I developed a process, way back when to enable others to begin to hear themselves and what they truly wanted to do
I still use it.
It’s powerful
I warn you — It IS A frustrating process if you are at all impatient — HOWEVER when your alternative is to keep pinging between experiences and NEVER quite finding your thing, perhaps it’s worth it.
