When I have a client on the screen on Zoom, everything (and everyone else) literally falls away. — This brings deep focus, connection, and the ability to hold the client with an intensity that’s productive and wholesome.

It almost brings a hyper-focus: There is nothing else to distract us from the work that lies between us.

And, of course we could alway summon that with two humans in the same room, but somehow it took more effort to strip extraneous sounds and spaces away.

With Zoom, the screen is like a lens through which I can see the client’s world magnified. I can see the human in the middle of their professional and their personal contexts. From here, from what already exists, we can begin to design what could be … we can see what does work, what doesn’t work currently AND what could work so much more efficiently, beautifully, satisfyingly.
And you DO deserve satisfying work.
