Career Coaching Books
When I trained as a career coach of course I read ALL The Career Coaching Books – well, at least the first three chapters of each of them ;). Fifteen years on and I’m only too aware that the biggest lessons I learn come directly from my clients.
.
“I’m not interested in what you DO per se. What I’m interested in is in knowing how that affects YOU day to day.”
There’s a symbiosis – we do a dance. My client might be one step ahead of me or I might be half a step ahead of them. It doesn’t matter – this s not a competition.
.
The work is collaborative and if we are both being nourished we are both so much more empowered and impactful in our work for that!
.
As a young coach I was terrified of being found out, of someone finding out that I didn’t know something
Career Coaching Books
As a cross sector coach there is NO WAY I could know everything.
.
And so, I’m not interested in what you DO per se. What I’m interested in is in knowing how that affects YOU day to day — And that can NEVER be found in a book
(Never stop reading books btw – their very purpose is to nourish you so keep letting that right in!)
.
So, if you want bespoke, collaborative, cross sector coaching where you get to take responsibility for yourself.
