This is why you are here, right? Because over and over again you have done what you ‘should’ do, the things that were offered to you? The things that others did… Instead of pausing to hear what you WANTED to do.
How many years have you actually been following the career pathways prescribed by others? Is it a decade? Is it two? And how happy has that made you?
Like me, you may well have been promoted. Like me, you may well have a decent salary. However, how happy are you doing what you currently do, day in and day out?
How much do you like your work environment? How much do you enjoy what you are doing and saying daily and how happy are you with how people behave towards you? Do you really know, and are you appreciated for the skills and capabilities you bring to your role every day? What beliefs keep you tied to this place of work that no longer suits you? And, do you have a core values conflict corroding your soul? Do you care about “The Why” of the organisation that pays you?
