Career Coaching: Emergence. Are you a patient person? I’m not, I know I’m prone to pushing and shoving to make things happen. I then get bruised, exhausted, and frustrated, and then I can’t work out what I’m doing wrong…..

Making a big transition work-wise WILL take TIME. I know for my part, that once I have an idea, I want it fully formed and here NOW! Firstly this isn’t how it works, and secondly, it isn’t how things work well.
A new idea never grows in isolation. A new idea grows in the space between a multitude of things. A new idea comes not only from the initiator, it comes from the environment that’s initiator lives and works in. It grows in the spaces between the other people and stakeholders. Innovation grows within the bigger system of the culture of the organisation, or the country it sits in.
A new thing is impacted by things as far afield as the climate and the political culture, the financial landscape, and even the planets of you view it this way. And therefore, growth needs to be informed by all these things. This. Takes. Time.

Career Coaching: Emergence

With the new ideas that are emerging now, don’t expect them to land fully formed, they will only be effective when they have grown in situ. This is why you need to be patient… There is nothing perfect until it has cooked in the crucible of time, within its context and its people.
Breathe into this and have trust! This new career or enterprise, project, or business, each need you to put your trust in them and allow them the space to grow themselves.
Life does have your back so allow her to guide you! She (and you), really have got this!
