Career Coaching: Expectations

Career Coaching: Expectations: “What are the coaches’ expectations are of me?

— Is a really common question
Like anything new, “what am I expected to do?”, is a genuine concern as we walk into a new job, field, or paradigm … suddenly self conscious, we start looking outside of ourselves for cues: For the hints on how we ‘should’ behave or what we ‘should’ say or how we need to present ourselves so that we will fit in.
And, in THIS WORK will design this together. AND, We can ONLY design it together if both of us make the commitment to show up real and true.
Yes, it is a risk — if the “real us” is rejected than that’s really painful

However: what if we pivot this?

What if you and I risked showing up true and real and honest AND what if then we were welcomed with open arms
What if through risking showing up honest and true and we’re welcomed here
And, what if through this process You got the courage to show up real and true in your work and you got welcomed there too as a result
What if this showing up real and true here, opened a whole heap of doors for you of being welcomed and belonging throughout the professional world
Surely that’s worth the risk in the here and now? — To change the trajectory of a lifetime of being the person other people expect you to be, for them?
