Fears About Career Coaching

Fears About Career Coaching –I asked a bunch of my ‘recovering clients’ what had frightened them about coaching before they had arrived in the room to do The Work.

.

The Client herself described herself as “excited” before we began our journey together; however, it was her partner who had fears about her engaging with career coaching:

“He was concerned it would be a huge waste of money, that it was too expensive. He couldn’t see anything tangible and feared that the cost wouldn’t add up.

Her response – 3 years after we had met to work together was this.

“Because of coaching, I now have my dream lifestyle and would NOT HAVE BEEN POSSIBLE without the sessions I did with you.”

She has moved through various iterations of herself in that time, and we have met periodically to review what was and was not working.
.
She has, in the intervening time, made a couple of professional choices that have been very much part of the process but were NOT the end result – she learned SUCH a lot along the way, and it has been a privilege to see her take the gifts as she elegantly extricated herself from one particularly hardcore frontline situation.

.

She has completed the qualification she set out to do, and she has the role she has always been seeking.

What a journey and what a treat for me to witness her really stepping into her true power

I am so grateful to be able to support/encourage/ and nudge people further than they ever thought possible for themselves as we work together.

There will ALWAYS be fear around doing something new – come and tell me what they are, and we can see what we can do.

I get to watch people bloom and step into the people they were born to be
