The Power of Stating Your Intent
As a result of some dull form filling. I’ve just been revisiting my diary of the past few years. Ive been noticing just how powerful the effect of my saying out-loud what my intention was and the effect that has had on my professional world.
In 2013 I voiced I would like to start a coaching business. I never really believe it would happen. Having said the words I engaged with the mandatory business startup training. I never really believed it would happen. During 2014 I began to define my coaching niche, qualified as a clinical supervisor, gathered clients around me. I never believe the business would happen. January 2015 I fell through the door of my local enterprise office saying ‘I’ve got to go live, I’ve got too many clients’ …..
I had never really believed the coaching business would happen! Nearly a year later the business is flourishing, i have had heaps of brilliant support. I am Loving the work, and, I am just believing that this coaching business might actually really be happening……
So here’s my advice. Follow it if you choose, even if you believe it will never happen: State your intention, fake it to make it, take the mandatory steps and see just what the outcome could be! It’s an incredible process!
