Too Busy? Maybe this could help.

I am a planner. I assemble my clothes for the next day, the night before. I have a destination in mind for my business. I always finely plan my coaching sessions…… And interestingly enough I frequently find I’ve been thrown a curve ball. Where I planned an outfit for a sunny day, there’s a downpour, where anticipated my business developing is not where it lies at all, nudged by incredible and unexpected opportunities opening up before me, and as for a client session, there is absolutely no legislating for what gifts will come through the door.
So if it feels really overly, scarily busy, perhaps you could benefit from shifting the emphasis a little. Perhaps being present right here in the moment and taking the very next step will help calm your fears.
In no way am I advocating quitting planning. Keeping an eye on your destination is essential. The one day I have no plan for a coaching session would be the day a client would be expecting me to take the lead….
What I am being mindful of is the fact that we do only have this minute in time in the here and now. We have no guarantees whatsoever of what will come next. So maybe it’s our responsibility to choose to honour this moment in time, the present, as the gift of really is. Perhaps it is more simple and indeed pleasurable to practise reigning in the amount of time that we allow our minds to live in the past or the future, and focus on making the most of now.
