Career Coaching: A Good Question

Career Coaching: A Good Question asked of me by a client recently:

“What if the process doesn’t work for me?”
This is such a great question: Firstly, why would you want to invest a whole heap of cash, time and trust, in a process that isn’t guaranteed?
And conversely, it takes two to tango: I pledge to show up completely and wholeheartedly. And, if the other half of the equation isn’t prepared to do so equally, then the outcome cannot be 100%
So, here’s the truth. If you have not decided how to take your career forward after three months of intense work, you will be taking a huge risk.

Why?

Because, when we are capable, competent, bright and brilliant, AND you do not choose what it is that you want to do? Then guess what?
Someone else will swoop in and decide for you. And, when you allow that to happen, you are right back at square one all over again – showing up with all your heart, mind and soul to serve another’s purpose.

Career Coaching: A Good Question

In my experience — there is nothing more likely to breed resentment all over again.
Knowing this, two-thirds of the way through our coaching process, I will ask you to make a really courageous decision. And then, we will work together to put everything in place that you will need to make this decision of yours real.
So, if this career coaching doesn’t work for you? To be frank, that’s on you. Because if you show up wholeheartedly, honestly, openly and willingly together, we cannot fail to find your best professional route.

It really IS time for You to take charge.
