Career Coaching and Age
I was having a conversation at a very beautiful funeral, and one of the mourners asked me:
“Can you coach a 58-year-old woman who’s lost her way a bit?”
Hell Yeah! — What a complete privilege to engage with this body of work. It would be easy to say that career coaching and age had nothing to do with each other, BUT that would do the entire situation a disservice.
.
Consider the amount of lived experience this human brings.
.
Consider the depth of the skills, knowledge, and personal attributes that this individual, should she choose to take ownership of them, will bring to her professional table.
.
Consider the diversity of facets and identities woman of her lived experience will bring to her chosen endeavour. — One who has worked, led, mothered, grieved, lived, loved, laughed and lost across five decades.
Career Coaching and Age
That is a serious body of assets that this creature brings.
.
And, together, we can enable her to choose exactly where to apply that for the most potency and potential—finding the best place for its highest good.
.
Identify The Purpose of the next piece of work, be intentional and purpose-led, and this human can (and will) move mountains.
.
These are exactly the humans we need right now – business needs to be done very differently. — Let’s redesign it, well.
