So, if half of UK businesses are demanding we all return to the office AND half the employees will walk if they are forced to then — this leaves organisations 25% down on their employees. Add this to the high percentages of people who have been considering resigning anyway and we have a BIG migration of the working population on our hands.

This is going to prove VERY tricky given that with Brexit there is a significant shortage of people to employ in the UK. This means that businesses are REALLY going to have to buck up their ideas on how they treat their people or they will have nobody to do the work. And, what this also means is that once again, it is YOU, the employee who holds all the cards

So, now is the time to be making your decisions

If it’s time for a promotion – this is a very good time to ask for it.

If you wish to move sector or city or even country – now is the time to begin to navigate your way towards achieving these things.

Firstly, It is time to spend a little time turning inwards to ask yourself “What exactly it is you want for your career and your professional development?”

Be honest with yourself. Communicate clearly and the chances of you getting exactly what it is you wish for are significantly raised by politics and circumstances right now…
