Career Development
Career development: It is the height of spring. It is the time, in the wheel of life, that the dreams and hopes that we have been nurturing since deepest winter, begin to come to fruition. In “conversations with God” by Neale Donald Walsch, the belief is that: thought, then word, makes action. It is actions that makes our dreams manifest in the world.
Thus, if we continually talk of what ‘is not’, and what ‘will not be’, this is exactly how our desires will remain. If however, we think and speak of what ‘can be’, ‘will be’ and indeed “Is”, then, we invite everything to line up behind us, providing us with all that we want.
Of course this might just sound like “cosmic waffle” to you. However, has it ever struck you how often it is that when you believe something to be rightful, or just, or well-earned, or certain. That this is exactly when ‘it’ happens just as you’d hoped? Yet if the slightest doubt creeps in, the outcome is quite other than that you sought. Just sayin….
I am not one to put more trust into praying to an elderly, all-seeing, bearded man for great things. I am a great advocate for taking the action that will make things happen. If you want good solid career development this year, I do wholeheartedly support lining up your thoughts with your practical steps. If you are positive in your thoughts about what you want, if are speaking what you really think (the caveat being that this is done kindly), then your actions will be fuelled by the momentum.
Are you saying what it that you want, or are you trapped in the ‘pride before a fall’ fear, and simply naming what you don’t? These two processes will take you in totally opposite directions. I hope you are now, reaping the rewards of the seeds that you sowed, all those months ago.
