Career Coaching: Finding Your Tribe

Career Coaching: Finding Your Tribe — Stepping out of the corporate and civil service roles I had in the past has been a revelation to me – why? Because once I started doing work that was true to the real me and, in alignment with my soul, this is what pulled my tribe around me …

.

I had always felt like a misfit Until my late 30s when I took the risk and stepped off what felt like a precipice to launch my business. What I envisioned as a lonely journey, of fear and uncertainty was instead a journey of support and of remembering who I could really be in my professional world. I had done those previous roles perfectly well. I was good at reading the need and showing up in the way I ‘should”. I got promoted. I gained seniority. I got paid more, I also got seriously bored and kept moving to try to fill this hole in my soul that works just couldn’t meet. I could turn my hand to anything – so. What was MY thing?

Career Coaching: Finding Your Tribe

Now, as Founder of two business entities, I cannot quite believe how privileged I feel to be surrounded by such an incredible level of love, support and comradeship in this entrepreneurial world of mine. My clients bring me more wisdom than I could ever gift them, my coaching peers are all about generosity and collaboration. My business network is rich in sharing, authenticity and wisdom, my world is a colourful tapestry of warp and weft that continues to support me in my personal and professional development.
.
This is just NOT the LONELY PATH I believed I would furrow when I started my business….
.
This is glorious — not only I have found my rightful professional place in the world but most importantly, I have, and I continue to gather my tribe around me.
