Career Coaching: Myth Busting: As a coach who’s been at the coal face of one-to-one coaching for a decade, 2020 brought the revelation of the richness of holding group coaching programmes.
Honestly, as a self-confessed introvert, I was skeptical. And, I was shown the potency of six individuals, weaving their magic around each other as they worked their way forwards towards their chosen pathways. There were some tears, there was WAY more laughter as all the participants asked themselves the difficult questions, learned to play to their strengths, whilst simultaneously learning to nourish themselves in much better ways.

It was pure alchemy.

Six months on, we reconvened last week —
(having kept the WhatsApp group alive ALL that time!)

We witnessed the wins, we found the gifts in the tumbles. We celebrated the progress each and every participant had made in the intervening time. And the progress was phenomenal!
There are purposeful and aligned enterprises springing up all over the country. We have pledged to meet up quarterly to continue the learning together. I’m definitely looking forward to seeing where these new shoots lead for each and every one of these courageous individuals who keep on showing up to design their careers in a way that suits them.
