Career Coaching: Industry Sector — I’ve noticed that I bring something relatively unique as a career coach.
I am entirely ’Sector Agnostic’ — Great word, right? But what does that mean?
Sector Agnostic means that I work with EVERY sector. The industry sector you currently work in, the sectors You have worked in, and the sector You wish to move into are not the point of the work we will do.
How does that make me different? A majority of the coaches I have come across during my coaching and clinical supervisor career are sector-specific
Coaches often follow a prescribed route, whether they know it or not. They qualify as coaches; they leave their day jobs to set themselves up to provide coaching. They then coach those with whom they are already connected – it’s an organic and natural process, and most will be in the sector they have just left.
This can make for excellent coaching provision.
However, it is ONLY excellent if you, as the client, wish to stay in the industry sector you are currently in.

Somehow, I have become The Babel Fish of Business. Having worked cross-sector for the past 15 years, I have become proficient in moving between industry sectors, levels of seniority and organisation, translating every step of the way.
