Do I Need a Career Coach?

Do I Need a Career Coach? Well, that depends on your desired outcome

a) If you wish to keep doing the same thing over and over again, expecting a different outcome. Then, you are welcome to keep doing that. However, know that this is the official definition of insanity — nothing will change.
Or, you can take a risk and try something different. You can step away from you comfort zone. And, you will have to do this on faith – pure faith! This is not trust – because we trust things when they are already evidenced. What you are about to do is step off the edge of a cliff into the totally unknown.
Why would you do that? Well, if you return to a) above, this is the alternative. And, you don’t need to take this step alone.

Do I Need a Career Coach?

I did it – I did The Insanity-Thing.
I may have changed role or sector, or gained seniority. However, what I was doing exactly the same, was taking The same Me with ME:  The Same Beliefs. The Same Limited perceptions of myself. I took myself out of the frying pan and into the next professional fire.
I was THE best interviewee – I could convince anyone of my ability to rock up and do their job. And I could and indeed did.
What I didn’t have was ownership of my own true abilities. I aimed way too low. I felt I was failing and thus I lost confidence over and over again. Mainly I was headed for jobs I thought I ‘should’ do as opposed to those roles I wanted.
Have you had enough of how things are now? Or, do you want to try a little bit more of that? You can, you know how to do it, you’ve proven that to yourself … And, You are VERY good at it!
Or, you can take a risk and try something different – this is you investing in your future self.
Are you ready? Have you had enough now?
